Eighteen curious and eager middle schoolers from Boulder’s Watershed School visited Mosaic for an afternoon of learning and discussing professionalism specifically in the field of architecture, interior design, and running a business. With an introduction and self-storytelling, Mosaic’s principal partner Jane Snyder kicked off the event with her journey and tellings of how Mosaic runs as smoothly - and profitably - as it does. The large class split up into three groups while junior and senior architects presented their current projects, what working in a design firm is like – challenges and joys – and of course, cookies were included! The event was a hit, and we look forward to hosting other young people’s journey of career discovery and personal growth.
