Baker Street Interiors
“Make it fun and somewhat traditional, but not stuffy, and not too traditional, and unexpected…” were instructions given to us for the interior design and furnishings of this beautiful home in the Cow Hollow neighborhood of San Francisco.

Matching the eclectic architecture of the home and the Owners’ taste, inspired by their international background and intense travels, we sourced furniture, art, fixed finishes, and fabrics for this home from all over the world. New, old and antique, custom and “off the shelf”, traditional, transitional and contemporary – it all created a beautiful mix of furniture that speaks clearly and directly to our clients’ vision.
Supporting the newly created interior flow, we designed a custom light sculpture in collaboration with Windfall GmbH in Munich using thousands of Swarovski crystals to add a little extra sparkle on your way up to the View Room. The Primary Bath was designed as a tribute to the Owners’ adventurous lifestyle with Victoria & Albert soaking tub, Vola towel warmer, Dornbracht fixtures and a custom, floating elm wood vanity which was sourced via Arborica in Marshall, CA and then carved by a surfboard builder in the Outer Sunset. Surf’s up!
